Wok Out Restaurant

I travel to China 4x a year. Consequently I don’t eat Chinese food in the Largo area. Except here. The food is fresh. Authentic. Was such a pleasant discovery. The beef is wonderfully tender. The veggies are never overdone. Heartily enjoyable. The proprietress is from southeast China and is a warm, friendly face.

we started coming here when i was in middle school so 1994-1997 and honestly i think the last time i was here was sometime before 2011 and i couldnt even tell you how many years before. anywho it was the best chinese. we noticed that some years ago a lot of chinese restaurants in the area stopped using the white takeout cartons. and that these same places stopped serving true fried rice- they would have what looked liked white rice with yellow food coloring (and not fried) and calling it fried rice. it was all just a total disappointment!! my guess is that wok out did not do this but i just really dont know when the last time i came here was. its still worth giving this place a try.....and if you are in brandon i highly recommend hot wok!!

I have never ever had a problem with delivery from this place except for tonight. Called after being told 40 minutes and it had been an hour. Said I did not receive my food. Was told by the answered that it was delivered many times after telling her I did not receive it. She talking in Chinese supposedly talked to the delivery person saying they delivered to someone. Still telling her I did not receive my food and after talking with my daughter she said she would personally receive my food. Im so scared at this point to eat the food that is supposedly being redelivered. First time I had a problem. Answerer claimed to be the owner but is not. I know her voice. Unbelievable for this great place. Delivery guy that "delivered" my food needs fired. I TAKE THIS BACK. THE OWNER SND DRIVER REDELIVERED MY ORDER AND HOPEFULLY GOT THEIR MONEY FROM THE PERSON THAT ACCEPTED MY ORDER. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Amy truly takes care of us! Wok-out is just outstanding—definitely a 10 out of 10. It's hands down the best Chinese food in the city. If you're visiting, you absolutely have to try it! And for those of us who live here, it's a favorite we enjoy multiple times a month. It's just that good!

First time I’ve been here since a karate banquet in the 90’s. It was highly reviewed so it figured why not. Let’s just say if i could seek a refund i would , but i ordered through Uber eats. The chicken fried rice is NOT fried and i suspect the rice could be plastic! I’m still flossing raw pieces out of my teeth. The “sauce” for the crab”less” Rangoon has a strong chemical smell and it damn near inedible, and there is no crab in the appetizer , they say Crab with a C on the menu so i assumed there was actual crustaceans in the dish, no such luck. The orange chicken(again strong chemical smell and rubbery texture) is drowned in an oily sauce and has ZERO orange (or chicken flavor for that matter) . There is an overwhelming and rubbery texture and there is almost NO chicken in the meal all fritter or whatever this substance is.
